Consider joining the Lehigh Valley Regional Homeless Advisory Board’s Landlord Engagement Program!
The program is designed to connect landlords with qualified tenants experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. By participating in our program, you will become part of a network of peers who have agreed to rent to these households while also receiving various benefits and support. Landlords will also benefit from The RHAB collaborative’s access to resources and additional landlord assistance programs.
As a member of our program, you will receive guaranteed rental payments, reimbursement for property damage or missed rent, case management for your tenants, and other support to ensure that your experience as a landlord is as seamless and successful as possible. Additionally, you will provide valuable housing options for qualified families, helping to positively impact our community.
Our Landlord Engagement Program is mutually beneficial. By partnering with us, you will have access to a range of incentives designed to support, retain, and recruit new landlords, increase the number of units available for families to rent, reduce the time it takes to locate a unit and ensure that landlords are ready to pass a Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspection.
These incentives include:

- $1,000 signing bonus for your first unit
- $500 signing bonus for your second unit
- $250 signing bonus for each additional unit
- Up to $2,500 available to landlords for mitigation
*Please note that the signing bonus only applies to landlords in our network and that landlords and tenants cannot be family members.
To become a part of our program, you will need to provide the following:

- A copy of the signed lease between you and your qualified tenant
- A valid government-issued ID
- Your Social Security card or IRS registration
- A valid W-9 form
- A voided check for direct deposit
